Lana’s love for photography began with her father, from whom she inherited both curiosity and appreciation for capturing meaningful moments. As a child, she spent time alongside him learning the fundamentals of film photography—watching the careful process of shooting on film, understanding light, and experiencing the magic of images coming to life. Those early experiences shaped her artistic eye and laid the foundation for the photographer she would become.

Although she later studied Art and Design, photography remained the artistic medium that resonated with her most. Her background in the arts allows her to approach photography with a creative perspective, not only when composing an image but also in the editing process.

Coming from a family of artists, musicians, and painters, creativity has always been a natural part of Lana’s life. While she also enjoys painting, singing, gardening, and quilting, photography ultimately became the art form that captured her heart.

Born in Ukraine, Lana moved to the United States in 1998 and has since embraced her new home wholeheartedly. She has been happily married for 27 years and is the proud mother of two wonderful children—a son and a daughter.

Photography is both Lana’s passion and her profession. She believes photography is a powerful form of art and storytelling, capable of preserving genuine emotions and meaningful moments. She is especially passionate about capturing natural, candid interactions that reflect the true essence of people and their relationships.

For Lana, the most rewarding part of her work is delivering photographs that evoke emotion—images that can make someone laugh, cry, and relive cherished memories for years to come. She is deeply committed to quality in every aspect of her work.
